These are pictures from my favorite day of 2015. They come from The Algarve coastal region of Portugal, which is filled with many hidden cave beaches. These photos came from a boat ride we took, as well as a hidden beach that we hiked down to through a long tunnel staircase carved through rock. I hope to see something as geographically beautiful in 2016.

This past August we went on a trip to Portugal and Spain. I thought I'd take a break from construction updates...which are slow coming....and post some pics from our trip. We flew into Lisbon, and spent the afternoon there on a walking graffiti art tour through the city. Graffiti art is a big thing in Lisbon, and there are lots of areas around the city designated for it.

I've had a travel filled summer, which left little time for crafting or blogging. I'm home for the next few months, and have a bunch of projects to tackle around my house that hopefully will be blog worthy. These are a few pictures from a boat ride we took in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

#411...the getty

I spent the day this past Saturday at The Getty with my parents and my in-laws. I have been several times in the past, and it remains one of my most favorite museums and LA activities. The beautiful weather helped the enjoyment, as one of the biggest exhibits of The Getty campus is its architecture and garden spaces. Every time I visit I see something different. This visit, we took an architecture tour, and got to see Jackson Polluck's Mural, which just underwent a two year restoration at The Getty, as well as Van Gogh's Irises. If you are in LA it is worth the battle up the 405 to visit.
